Having good manners is very important if everyone in society is to coexist in pe ace and harmony. Good manners do not come inside us in a d ay. We becom e center of attraction if we are well mann ered. Manners build a great personality. When we try to make ourselves a good person we become an outstanding character. There are two parts to a person; the one that we can see and the one that we cannot see. We must never judge a book by the kind of cover it has because that is not all there is. In the same way, we cannot judge a person from what is on the outside but what is on the inside. Manners help recognize an individual as a person of class earning one respect and awe of others in the society. Thus the term or phrase "manners make the man" is apt in every sense. We need to equip ourselves and learn a lot from others in order to become a person of manners.
